| Rosie Decker -
European Business Development Manager
Rosie is based for most of the year at our European office in York, England, where she sources and manages our European distributors. When not in the office she is out demonstrating the mills at one of our many Europeans shows. With a business degree and 5 years in Sales and Marketing in the UK, Rosie arrived at Petersons, Rotorua 5 years ago as our Marketing Manager. That role got bigger as the company grew and she decided to focus on the European side of the business and therefore spend her time in England with her family. Outside of work you will find her mountain biking, wake boarding or helping out on her dad’s farm. |

Lee Morris - International Distribution Consultant
Lee was born in Manchester England during the baby boom years. After finishing school in 1976, he began a Mechanical Apprenticeship which took five years to complete. In 1992 after spending 15 years with the same company working as a Diesel Mechanic, Lee moved to NZ and took up a sales role with an engineering supply company. After completing a diploma in sales, he eventually found himself leaning more toward the forestry industry, which is what brought him to us. Lee's primary role with Peterson’s is developing and taking care of our Global Agents which he finds very rewarding. Lee's passion in any spare time he may have is horse racing, and he hopes to one day own his own race horse - luckily for him his wife Lorraine shares his interest!

Marama Christie - Export Logistics
Once you've purchased your mill Marama takes over and makes sure it gets to you in good time, and in good condition. She's been with Peterson's five years now and works tirelessly, always willing to help others, and always wearing a smile. Marama happily juggles her job with three teenage daughters, a son, a husband, and a dog that needs walking twice a day! If she's lucky enough to find any spare time she'll usually snuggle up with a good book. Her name means 'moon' in her native New Zealand and if you were wondering how to pronounce it, she says, "How does a lamb go? Baa, baa. Well, for me, it's Maa-ra-maa!". |

Emma is the youngest member of the Peterson Sawmill family, but she brings a heap of experience with her. She was previously employed at the local newspaper where she managed the database, developed new computer systems, and worked the reception, amongst other duties. She loves organising 'stuff', so her role in marketing is well-suited.
In her spare time you'll find her in a shopping mall, probably buying a new pair of shoes, or she'll be out in the forest riding her horses. Born in Rotorua, Emma lived out in a little place called Te Whaiti in the Whirinaki Forest, before moving back to Rotorua to work.

Alan Wright - Purchasing Officer
Alan joined the company to take control of the purchasing of parts, and also finding the best suppliers. He is new to this type of industry, having previously worked in the freight and courier sector most of his life. He feels that since he has survived living with three women (a wife and two teenage daughters) for the last 20 years, then he can adjust to any challenge that is given to him. If he's able to find any spare time he'll use it doing a computer course, or be out there on a boat fishing. |
