They will visit Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Mullumbimby, Hunter Valley, West Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Portland, Melbourne, Latrobe Valley and then onto Albury for AusTimber 2004.
Peterson marketing spokesperson Rosie Coward said the demonstration tour was a great opportunity for people to get together and find out more about Peterson portable sawmills and their applications.
“Jake and Stan have specialist knowledge in sawmilling and are able to help customers get the most out of their mill,” she said.
“The ASM has attracted a lot of interest, so this tour will be a great chance to see it in action.”
The Automated Swingblade Mill has a number of notable features that provide productivity and efficiency.
It is able to cut 1.5 to 2.0 cubic metres (600-800 bft) per hour.
It also cuts 10” x 20” boards automatically, and also has a board removal device.
