Cutting up to 40 slabs per hour, our DWS is a purpose-built slabbing unit complete with it’s own motor, gearbox, bar and chain, fitted within our large 1.8m production frame. Designed with a faster chain speed than other slabbers, it is more suited to the manufacturers chain speed specifications, so that you can cut between 8-40 slabs per hour and retain an accurate and quality finish. |

| Peterson Blades |
Peterson’s blades can last for 2-6 years, depending on their frequency of use and how well they are maintained. Some owners have been using the same blades for over 10 years. New blade technology and the use of tough tungsten carbide tips means that circular blades require far less maintenance than other blades. There is also thinner or wider kerf blades available.

Peterson's actively assist millers who wish to on-sell their Peterson equipment, by putting buyers in touch with sellers. In New Zealand we also offer a trade-in facility, so we often have reconditioned units on hand for sale.
